This policy describes how Hiry handles your information. 1. Data we collect Hiry is designed to keep your data under your control. We do not collect or store your job applications, reminders, or personal data on developer-operated servers. When iCloud is available, Apple CloudKit automatically keeps your Hiry data in your personal iCloud account so it can stay up to date across your Apple devices. Data stored on your device and in your personal iCloud when available: • Job applications: job title, company name, status, dates, recruiter contact (name, email, phone), location, salary, notes, tags, and follow-up reminders. • Settings: language, theme, weekly goal, notification preferences (e.g. daily reminder time and default reminder delay), and automatic backup option. • Widget: a copy of recent applications and your weekly goal is stored in a shared container on your device so the widget can display it. This data does not leave your device. Data you provide when sharing into Hiry: If you use "Share" from Safari, LinkedIn, or another app to add an application, the Share Extension receives the URL and any title or metadata that the system provides. It uses this solely to pre-fill a new application in Hiry. Processing stays on your device except for retrieving the public job page from its original website when needed. 2. Where your data is stored • On your device: All data is stored locally using your device’s storage and an App Group so the main app, share extension, and widget can access the information they need. • iCloud: When an iCloud account is available, Hiry uses Apple’s CloudKit to automatically sync your data through your personal iCloud account. If iCloud is unavailable, Hiry continues to work from the local store and retries on a later launch. You control iCloud at the system and Apple Account level. Apple’s privacy policy applies to iCloud: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. • Export / backup: If you use export (CSV/JSON) or automatic backup, files are saved to your device (e.g. in the Files app). We do not upload these files to our servers. We do not operate servers that store your job applications or personal information. 3. Notifications Hiry uses local notifications only. Reminder times and text are stored on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server or track when you receive them. 4. Price and purchases Hiry offers a free experience and optional automatically renewing Hiry Pro subscriptions. Hiry Pro unlocks follow-up insights, goals and reminders, the follow-up calendar, exports, and bulk actions. Purchases and subscription management are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Hiry does not receive or store your payment-card information. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. The price and billing period shown by Apple at the time of purchase apply. 5. Third-party services • Apple: The app uses Apple’s frameworks, including CloudKit when iCloud is available, WidgetKit, StoreKit, and User Notifications. Apple’s privacy practices apply to those services. • Hiry does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. 6. Data you control • You can export your data (CSV/JSON) from the app at any time. • You can delete applications and data from within the app. • Uninstalling the app removes local data. Data synchronized through iCloud may need to be deleted separately from your iCloud settings. 7. Children Hiry is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data in the app, please contact us and we will help you remove it. 8. Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. 9.
