This policy describes how Hiry handles your information. 1. Data we collect Hiry is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your job applications, reminders, or personal data on our servers. Data stored only on your device (and optionally in your iCloud): Job applications: job title, company name, status, dates, recruiter contact (name, email, phone), location, salary, notes, tags, and follow-up reminders. Settings: language, theme, weekly goal, notification preferences (e.g. daily reminder time, default reminder delay), automatic backup option, and optional iCloud sync preference. Widget: a copy of recent applications and your weekly goal is stored in a shared container on your device so the widget can display it. This data does not leave your device. Data you provide when sharing into Hiry: If you use "Share" from Safari, LinkedIn, or another app to add an application, we receive only the URL and any title or metadata that the system sends to our Share Extension. We use this solely to pre-fill a new application in Hiry. We do not send this to any server. 2. Where your data is stored On your device: All data is stored locally using your device’s storage and, when enabled, an App Group so the main app and the widget can share the same data. iCloud (optional): If you turn on iCloud sync in the app, your data may be stored in your personal iCloud account (via Apple’s CloudKit) to sync across your devices. This is optional and controlled by you. Apple’s privacy policy applies to iCloud: Apple Privacy Policy. Export / backup: If you use export (CSV/JSON) or automatic backup, files are saved to your device (e.g. in the Files app). We do not upload these files to our servers. We do not operate servers that store your job applications or personal information. 3. Notifications Hiry uses local notifications only. Reminder times and text are stored on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server or track when you receive them. 4. In-app purchases and subscriptions Hiry Pro (subscriptions and lifetime purchase) is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details. Apple may process transaction data according to their Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. 5. Third-party services Apple: The app uses Apple’s frameworks (e.g. StoreKit, CloudKit if you enable iCloud, WidgetKit, User Notifications). Apple’s privacy practices apply to those services. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. 6. Data you control You can export your data (CSV/JSON) from the app at any time. You can delete applications and data from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes local data. If you used iCloud sync, you may need to delete iCloud data for the app separately in your iCloud settings. 7. Children Hiry is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data in the app, please contact us and we will help you remove it. 8. Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. 9.
